Today, there are more than 15,000 Hmong living in the city of Milwaukee.  I interviewed and conducted ethnographic research on Hmong residents of Washington Park for over a year. When asked to describe their homes, Hmong tell stories  of people, buildings, landscapes, home and homeland from multiple locations across the world. These were some of the voices that I was able to gather.
